Town Hall Meeting
Currently there are about 50 new local condo projects planned. According to local real estate experts, half of the condo projects will get off the ground.
Because of the increase in these condos throughout downtown Las Vegas, residents are set to do battle with City Hall. Developers are worried, saying that to ban them from developing more condos downtown would be bad for the downtown economy.
Homeowners disagree and they intend to have some of these condos projects killed.
Homeowners have a good track record for getting oversized projects killed. They okayed the Stratosphere Tower, but killed the Titanic themed hotel.
Residents say that when you drive through this part of Las Vegas it’s like taking a journey back in time.
Wednesday’s Council meeting is set to draw a big crowd, who will win, the developers or the residents of historic Las Vegas Nevada?
