According to NAR results from the decision of the OCC to all banks to take part in Las Vegas real estate will not serve consumers or business well. It also shows a breach in the separation of banking and commerce.

The Las Vegas market took a hit at the beginning of the year and is recovering now; there is a chance that the market could recover. However, with banks having loose reins, many industry experts are getting nervous. If banks get a hand on role in real estate, the dynamics of buying homes and condos will be changed forever.
