The Cosmopolitan Resort
The Cosmopolitan Resort, a 3,000 room, Las Vegas property with strip-front property is the future of the high-rise industry according to local experts.
The Cosmopolitan consists of two towers of hotel rooms and condos with five stories of attraction. The Cosmopolitan is expected to open by New Year’s Eve 2008, and also is expected to be the Strip’s first development that will consist of hotels, condos, entertainment and other mixed-use amenities. Most other local condo projects aren’t expected to open until 2010 or later.
This new Las Vegas development is considered the $2 billion hybrid. It has glass enclosed shops which will over look the Strip sidewalk, rooftop beach club and hotel towers that will be able to overlook the other Las Vegas condos. The Cosmopolitan is expected to be one of the premiere local projects.
