Schools Want Homes For Teachers
According to the latest reports Clark County school officials are actually going to try and have a bill passed that would allow the school to purchase Las Vegas property so that they may house their teachers.
With rising home costs, Superintendent of personnell, George Ann Rice has said that Las Vegas Schools are dangerously low on teachers. She reports that teachers can’t afford to live in local housing and that the school has to do something to make the teachers come.
The proposal says that the school district will own the homes and rent the housing to the teachers who have come to educate our children. Officials predict that the project could be ready by 2008.
