Record New Las Vegas Homes Sales In 2004
A record 29,248 new Las Vegas homes sales in 2004 was reported by Home Builders Research, representing an increase of 4,018, or 15.9 percent, from 2003.
Dennis Smith, president of the local housing research company said the year finished up on a number includes 3,203 closings in December.
The new homes permit total of 32,879 for 2004 was an increase of 7,666, or 30.4 percent over the previous year.
These figures included 667 apartments that were converted to Las Vegas condominiums according to Smith.
