How to Find a Good Real Estate Agent

Finding a good Las Vegas real estate Agent is no accident. When selling your home it is always good to interview more than one Agent. We would appreciate the opportunity to explain our methods of marketing your Las Vegas Home or other property.

The majority of states now require some type of licensing process and certification for real estate Agents, but not all real estate Agents are REALTORS®.

While the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® Code of Ethics applies only to its members, many courts throughout the country have used them as a benchmark for consumer protection and have ruled in cases accordingly.

A real estate agent becomes a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS®. The term REALTOR® is a registered membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.

Finding an Agent that is a REALTOR® means that he or she is striving to become one of the top in the field and has made a commitment to professionalism by taking advantage of the many real estate courses offered by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS®, or one or more of 1,700 local associations/boards.

Las Vegas Real Estate Agents tend to specialize in certain property types. Residential, commercial or property management are the main types of specialization.

Most Agents also specialize in the types of Clients they represent. Either Buyers or Sellers.
