NAR Offers To Work With Congress

September 9, 2006 Posted In Economic News Finance Market Conditions Real Estate News

NAR is putting the pressure on Congress to adopt policies that encourage homeownership and makes purchasing a home obtainable for millions of families who desire to own a home of their own.

NAR reports that they are ready to work with Congress to continue to open the door to the American dream of ownership. This comes after many cities across America hit pricing highs. Las Vegas among others are at the top of the list.

This past year the local real estate market saw hard times due to a saturation of new homes and condos. Interest and mortgage rates also contributed to the problem.
