I think it’s great to emphasize the importance of evening appeal. I often encourage people to drive by at all hours, having nice pathway lights or lights that highlight the landscaping makes the home look welcoming and cozy. Always a good idea!

I think that investing in a small unit like that might be a pretty good thing to do if you can stand the agravation of managing it, and if there are any of those small units around anymore. I couldn’t tell you where the best location would be because I haven’t lived in an apartment for 30 years, and don’t pay attention to the small units. I’d think you would probably want to stay west of Decatur.

I think this credit will encourage many to buy a home. But the problem with it is that if you are a home owner and havent pourchased a home in the last 3 years you are still eligible for the $8,000? How does that work when someone already has a home, buying another would seem a bit greedy to say the least. First time home buyers is not as accurate as stated before but it should enourage more people to take the plunge and purchase a home.

Hi there, I’m from Vancouver. I went to Vegas many times to check properties for investment reason. but one thing is still not clear… Could anyone help my question about tax issue for foreign investor?
If Canadian buy property in Vegas, do we need to pay 30% of gross rental income minus expenses as a TAX to US?
How about when we sell, need to pay 10% TAX to US?
