Las Vegas Housing Market Future

NAR has spending a lot of time speaking with members of the Senate Subcommittee on Housing and Transportation and the Senate Subcommittee on Economic Policy lately.

Most recently Thomas Stevens, president of NAR discussed local housing markets. One that should have been mentioned is the Las Vegas housing market. The local market has had a tough time transitioning from a sellers’ market to a buyers’ market.

With lower mortgage interest rates reaching all time lows consumers are hoping to dissolve some of the surplus of Las Vegas homes and condos.

Many local developers would simply like to complete funding so that they may complete the homes or condo projects that were scheduled for completion in the beginning of the year.
